Most artists, now have full tracks in MP3 format.
These are in 128Kbps format.

There are also audio files which contain a series of "hops" across the artists CD's. Each selected track has a sample lasting between ten and thirty seconds, making a total length of about two minutes. The idea is to give you an overall feel for the album and hopefully make you want to rush out and buy a copy. It will definitely give you a better idea about the CD's contents, than just the title and a photo of the sleeve, in a catalogue
